I have a Strange 12 bolt in my 97 SS it has 4:11 gears in it but I want to put in some 3:42s does anyone know what carrier they use? 3 series, 4 series? or does it just depend on which gears you order it with? I figured I would ask here before calling but if no one knows the answer does anyone have Stranges number?

I bought my Strange 12-bolt with 3.73 gears, and could have sworn from the paperwork that came with the rear (the parts list) that it had a 3-series carrier. But when we pulled the cover to swap in 4.10's, it had a 4-series in it.
