stock y pipe and hi flow cat?

stock y pipe and hi flow cat?
will it fit just right together i think the carsound magnaflow hi flow cat is 3" inlet... or what will i have to do? do i weld them together?

I used 3" carsound cats on two stock y-pipes. They work great.
