Question stock torque arm installation help, 95 pontiac trans am

does any one know how to install a stock torque arm i tried to do it but i cant get the bolts on the differential lined up, maybe some one on here knows of a web site or maybe someone can give me some good directions on how to... 1995 pontiac trans am stock torqe arm

You have to use a jack to change the pinion angle. It takes a little time to line them up. I would put the bolts in from the bottom. It makes it easier later to take them out when the suspension is loaded.

You're going to need the rear half of the body in the air, then a jack under the differential to change the pinion angle. The body needs to be in the air to get a wrench on the top of the bolts. I like to put my bolts in from the top as a safety in case the nuts come loose.

I like to mount the rear of the torque arm first, then the front mount. This way you can use the TA as a lever to get the final line-up.

Exactly. However, if it makes it easier, you could stick one in from the bottom when you get the rear end lined up, then stick the other through the top. Then remove the one you stuck through the bottom for line-up and poke it through the top, too.
