I work at Advance Auto parts and I can get roughly 20% off on a lot of performance gear for our cars. I know a bigger TB ( in this case a Holly) does not make much of a difference (if any on a stock car) but it still seems like a good support mod. I was wondering how much power is the stock TB good for before it starts to bottle neck the air supply to the engine?

 

Stock tb is fine for bolt on cars.... it's more about money/hp. Not very effective until you're doing heads/cam.

 

Yeah, you might see a little gain bolt on wise but you need a cam to really make use of it.

 

Larger may show ya some gain but definitely won't hurt.
