Stock Rockers studs and guideplates

Hey guys. I am going to remove the Comp Pro Magnum 1.52 RR with 7/16" studs (need them for my motor in the '88), and instead install a set of Crane Blazer 1.6 RR with 3/8" stud. The only rocker studs I have that are 3/8" are stock ones. Can I use those with guideplates. Although ARP studs were longer then stock (on the part that goes in the head), the stock ones seem like they have enough "meat" on them to hold fine with guideplates. But I wanted to check anyhow. Thanks guys.

They looked ok to me, so I just used stock with my guideplates. No problems so far. 3000 miles.

Yeah, I used the stock studs with guideplates, works great! I also threw in my 305 tbi lifters with 150,000 miles on the on the pass. side bank, tick went away, no more sputter, everything works good now.
