stock MAF question

The number and barcode on the outside.. does it change for every MAF or is it part specific?

I know I've got a MAF from a 94z28 on my car, and I recently bought another, what I thought was a camaro maf for my car. Its number is differnt, and I just want to make sure it'll work fine on my car.

# for one I KNOW works on my car = 82410117711
# for one I'm not sure about = 82280446265

Re: stock MAF question

What I did was go to GNMpartsdirect.com and reserched the part number, gave it to my bud who works at a chevy dealership and thats the correct part number. I dont think the calibration varied all that much, if anything. But im no expert.

So does the number on the outside change for every MAF made?

Can you check the # on yours?

No, the bar code numbers are not the right way to get an automotive part number.

The right P/N is (from Shoebox web page...thanks again Rob)
1994-1997 MAF AC-Delco #213-252 25008308

Take care

So any idea what the numbers on the maf mean if anything? Because that part # isn't on the MAF.
