stock, or lt4 heads and intake

hey guys, i need some opinions and or facts. should i just keep my stock heads and intake, and put bigger valves in the heads, and port match the intake, or should i just get the lt4 heads and intake, or should i buy some other after market heads. im kinda confused on what to do. im looking to get my car running low 12s, high 11s. ive been buying everything else that i could possibly need, 12 bolt, new exhaust headers back, fuel pump, clutch and a whole lot of other stuff. what should i do?

Most cost-effective way to achieve your goals would be a quality port job on your stock LT1 heads. Do a search and see who the PROVEN popular head porters are. The LT4's and aftermarket heads (both requiring substantial additional work, after you take them out of the box) are good if you ultimately plan to go for a 300+cfm, high HP stroker application, but for what you want to do, ported stockers would cost way less.
