Stock LT1 rocker arms same as older SBC?

I'm thinking my stock rockers are shot because of the milage. I was thinking of yanking some off an old 350 I have but are they the same? I think they are both 1.5s but then I was thinking of the lift. I don't want to bend the pushrods if the older rockers don't have long enough slot.

Depends on what you mean by "old" 350. The lt1 rockers are self aligning meaning the heads don't need guideplates and the lt1 wasn't the first sbc that used them. If the rockers off your other motor are self aligning and use a 3/8" stud then they should work.

well I have an old 350 that came out of an 84 3/4 ton. The rockers look the same but I didn't know if the slots were larger on the LT1 for the higher lift cam. I need to take one off and compare them I guess
