stock LT1 HP?

Re: stock LT1 HP?
Advertised values for f-bodies to the crank are:
93-95 ->275
96-97 ->285
the previous post seemed about right on RWHP for #s.
M6s should tend to have a little more that A4s on the average to the wheel.

Re: stock LT1 HP?
Stock LT1's that were rated at 275 HP usually dyno around 245 RWHP from an A4 and around 255 RWHP from an M6 ... I thnk.
The highest I have ever seen on here for a bone stock LT1 was a 95' M6 that put down something like 263 RWHP.
It's safe to say that they are not as underated as the LS1 cars are. An LT1 might be underated by 10 HP or so.

Re: stock LT1 HP?
My '96 SS put down 271 hp and 301 lb-ft completely stock, with the ignition breaking up at higher rpm's.
It was on a single roller mobile dyno and SAE corrected.
