Stock LT1 Heads. Iron or Aluminum??

They are the stock heads and they look aluminum but I wasn't sure. My car is a 1996 Z28.

If they're the heads that came on the car stock, they're aluminum. There were other LT1 engines that came with iron heads though (b-body, I think?).

yes all F and Y bodies had aluminum heads.

B Bodies (caprice,impala,buick etc) had iron heads.
