stock lt1 heads....?

stock lt1 heads....?
I recently bought a pair of lt1 heads(stock), I was wondering what goes in the holes that are on the front of the heads.
On my old heads I see that there is some type of block off, but nothings on the new heads.

Just a block off I think. On the back of the heads the coolant crossover tube goes in those holes. I glanced at my heads when I got them off the car, and if I remember correctly they looked interchangeable.
