I have a 96Z. I bought a MSD coil and an adapter harness to plug into the stock coil harness. I made sure the coil was a single connector for the 96 + models and the harness adapter was for the same. My stock coil has a 4 pin connector in it and the adpter is for a 3 pin.... I am missing something?

The ICM has four terminals but the coil should only have 3 and be a single connector.

 

Is it harness 8877? If so that is to wire in a MSD box not, a coil. You shouldn't need any adapters if you got the '96 and up coil. It should plug right up.
