Question stock hardened pushrods

Hey guys, I'm almost threw with my heads and cam project. I have factory hardened pushrods with the demple in them. I inspected them all very closely and found one that had a nick in it from where I had a roller rocker come loose a while back. Well I ordered one from gmpartsdirect.com and ordered it for my car it came out to be also a gm high performance part #. But when I got it it has a pink stripe on it but no demple??? Does anyone know if it is the same or the same quality as my stock pushrods? I emailed the gm website and they didn't email me back ( they probably dont want to bother with worrying about a $7 part even though I spent hundreds on my 847cam, rocker studs, guideplates, and other stuff if anyone has any knowledge on this please let me know thanks,

I'm guessing this is a 10241740 PR? It's a PR only for SA rockers.

BTW anyone if you go to a setup that uses guide plates make sure you get pushrods that will work with them!!!!!

actually this is part # 10046173 for 94 z28 camaros its listed as old style for use with guideplates. I think they only put them in 94-95 cars?

Take a file to it and littly scrape it. If it is harderned you won't removed any metal. On a non harderned push rod you would put a little nick or groove where you sracthed it with the file.
