Cast nodular iron. Pretty tough for a stocker.

 

Cast BUT I would put it up against the cheap forged stuff and WAY ahead of the cast aftermarket stuff. I have never seen a case of the factory crank being damaged by too much power, not even with forced induction.

i ran a 355 on a stock crank good rods and pistons and it took a 400 shot... the rings gave out before the crank did...
