Stock chamber size on LT1 head?

What is the stock size? If a person were to use a set of heads that had larger than stock, would this increase overall flow/performance? Or could it have some ill effects on a NA setup?

Re: Stock chamber size on LT1 head?

I guess my question is by how much? Is stock size 48? How much of an effect would I see? Im looking at a head/intake combo that is 51cc chambers.

Thanks

Stock is said to be 58cc. I've heard different but go with 58 to be safe. 51cc will bring the compression ratio up a little and make a little more power.
