not sure on the specs of the stock cam. but if you are looking for something reasonable id def. say go with the HOTCAM. its very popular on this board. do a search and u will find a ton of information. the HOTCAM comes in a KIT with the 1.6 rr's and springs.

i have a thread a few posts up with a dyno of my 94 with the hotcam. check it out. and def. do a search! you will find what you are looking for!

welcome to the board!

Lets define some more of what you want from this cam.

Are you looking for max effort?
What rpm are you comfortable with for a shiftpoint?
How much low end driveability are you willing to give up?
Are you looking for an agressive choppy sounding idle?
When driving in traffic what rpm do you currently shift at?
When highway driving do you use 6th gear?
Are you going to swap rear end gears?

Edit,
This will give you an idea of the stock cam specs 230/203 is a typo for the 94-95 cam.

maybe 400 dollars. How many miles are on your motor? Many people reuse hydraulic lifters if there milage is reasonable. If you have a 93/94 you already have hardened pushrods and might consider reusing them. Timeing chain, or timing set? The chain and gears wear together slightly so with higher mileage you cannot replace just the chain.
