Stock Bottom End

hey guys i was curious about how much the bottom end of a stock rebuilt LT1 will withstand? see i'm gonna put Dyno Tune 125 shot and some LT's this summer. the car is stock with the exception of the LM1. and in about a year or so i'm gonna go with a H/C possibly the LE2. when i do the H/C i'll spray just a 100 shot. is this risking the bottom end? the engine right now has 2000 miles on it as we speak.

2000 miles on the rebuild or on the crank/rods/pistons? The crank and rods can take quite a bit, just spraying a 100 shot you should be ok, I've always been told that 125 was the limit on stock internals. As far as H/C and 100 shot you should be fine on the stock bottom end.

H/C Full bolt-ons + 150hp wet shot, got 11.8 and stock bottom end held through 5 full bottles. Didn't last 3 weeks with the blower though

With the nitrous as a standalone mod or the heads/cam as a standalone mod, you should be okay. Plenty of people are running such combos on stock bottom ends. Once you do the two together, it starts to become a hit or miss. If you do spray and also have an LE package, I would make sure the nitrous is setup properly and there is enough fuel and the proper timing in place.
