Stock bottom end @ 6500RPM?
Stock bottom end @ 6500RPM?
can the stock bottom end and lifters handle 6500RPM with any regularity? I'm thinking of going with a 230/236 cam but am bit scared by the 6500RPM need there. I'm wondering if I should go with a little tamer 224/230 or 218/224. I don't have the money for a rebuild. Anyone have any good insight into this?
i have taken mine to 7000!!! It stayed together, and I have the Datamaster run to prove it
stayed there for a whole 3 seconds!! Killin my A4 but the stock bottom end stayed together w/90,000 Miles

nope, use rpm16 it will give you your correct value. pcm will give datamaster rpm value as far as you can rev it.
