Still smoking.. pictures inside!
For those who have been following my saga, I got the car running again after fixing all the PCV and cooling problems, and a few other misc. things, but it's still smoking.
The smoke definetly has a bluish tint. It's definetly oil. I'm no longer overheating, so I'm pretty sure it's got to be an oil leak.
The valve stem seals looked okay to me, but maybe I put the one I took off back on wrong, or maybe they just weren't.... Or, maybe I have bad piston rings..
Anyway, the smoke is coming out of the missing air diverter on the drivers side and out of the tailpipes.
I took some pictures of the seal before I put the spring back on, and of the smoke.
It should also be noted that I felt like my car had less power and worse throttle response when revving... Also, it was ticking pretty badly.. Maybe I didn't lash the valves far enough (didn't tighten the rocker far enough)?
Anyway, here are the pictures:

I'd much prefer it to be valve seals, as then I wouldn't need to rebuild.. but I'm not really sure at this point.
I'm going to go take it for a test-drive down to the parts store.. I hope someone has some ideas based on the pictures..

Re: Still smoking.. pictures inside!
M1 10w30.. I'm gonna change that out for the thicker 0w30 later on, I think that might help. I'm also thinking about throwing some marvel mystery oil in it.. I think that the rings are probably the issue, as it sat for a year, and had the heads off for part of that time. The valve stem seals looked fine. But I will do a leakdown test and compression test once I get the chance.
Also, I don't think I could get this much smoke from valve stem seals, as the oil there isn't pressurized.
