ok guys im starting to get a little tired of this...my car when in any gear other than first...at between 1500 and 2500 rpms.. if you give it half throttle...starts to sound like its cutting out or missing or something...and has no power at all, it dint do this for the first three months i had it but now it is. its been to the shop several times and had the following changed...water pump, opti, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel filter...spent over 1700 dollars on it...and the problem still isnt fixed...any ideas before i just sell the car?!

 

Have you checked the coil?
You don't need to replace it, just take a volt/ohm meter to it.

 

If oyu can get it scanned and see what is going on. I had about the same problem with mine and it was becuase of bad o2 sensors. I guess after 2000 rpm the car will slam you back in the seat right??

Get it scanned first so you dont start throwing parts at it. I scanned mine and could tell the o2 sensors where not scanning right so I knew what to replace.
