Angry Still have darn high rpm miss.

I finally got the car going again today and I still have the high RPM miss. It isnt nearly as bad as it was before I replaced the coil, coil wire, fuel filter, wires, and regapped the pluges to .040. I checked the fuel pressure and its fine.

Whats weird is that the car pulls like a mother all the way up through the gears until I hit 5500 or so and it starts to break up. Itll fight its way through it but obviously isnt as smooth as it should be. Also while driving a very slight miss can be felt, it feels almost like a tugging. I have a very free flowing exahust but I get alot of popping after letting off the gas, and for some reason mostly around 2000 rpm.

I still have to do a good vaccume leak search but what else if left? MAF?

Anyone have an idea?

Valve float, i.e., worn valvesprings?

I think this may be the hesistation I was getting around 5200... RPMs and MAF airflow would fluctuate and then climb again.

I think I'm going to do the 1.7RR Scorpion rockers with new valvesprings and see if that fixes it--side benefit, more HP.
