Question Sticky Throttle on my LT1

Help?! I have a 97 Z28. Recently, when it gets rather warm outside (90's and higher), My throttle seems to want to stick between 2000 and 3000. The only way I can get it go come back down is to rev up to 4500 and then it drops back to idle until I get on the gas again. I'm pretty sure its a sticky throttle cable, but I'm not a car guy so please, any assistance would be appreciated.

much thanks!

You can get a throttle cable on ebay fairly cheap and it is very easy to install.

You might want to start by cleaning your throttle body with some spray cleaner (throttle body cleaner) on the butterflies and the surrounding area. Then wipe that area with a clean cloth. It should help some, if not fix it. Plus it is the cheapest option so it cant hurt either.
