steve's egr block off plates

i am a little confused with these block off plates. he has 2 plate intake manifold, 3 plate intake manifold/header, and 2 plate egr tube kit. i know one blocks the egr valve. one will block the egr pipe on the intake. on the 3 plate, does it block the stock manifold? or is the 3 plate only if you have headers? i will be getting these plates. i want to block all 3 locations but i still have stock manifolds. i will get long tubes some time but probally not soon. thanks

2 plate manifold kit=blocks off both ports on rear of intake for for guys with non-emission headers.

3 plate intake manifold/header= for guys with emission legal headers whom want to completely remove egr tube and egr. It will block off ports on the header and the intake regardless of which emission legal headers you have (stock exhaust manifolds included)

2 plate egr tube kit=for guys whom purchased an LT4 block-off plate and then realized they wanted to remove the egr tube for their emission legal headers.

For your application, you would need all three plates if you wanted to remove everything. Later on, if you changed to non-emission legal headers i.e. hooker long tubes, then you would not use the third plate included in the kit you purchased.

um.. I may be wrong, but you only need to block off the hole where the EGR solenoid was(the one that goes to the intake).? the other hole just runs to where the EGR tube was..

yeah but if you leave that there it will clog up the back of your intake & still heat it up which you don't want, "a hot spot on the back of the intake".

i thought you left the solenoid in place and you plug the egr valve, egr pipe on intake manifold, and the stock manifold where the egr pipe comes from.
