Smile Steering?

Recently it has been very hard for me to turn my wheel when I take turns. I have checked the power steering fluid and it is ok, so I am wondering what it might be?

Your power steering pump may be starting to fail...mine would be tough to turn every once in a while when it was on its last leg. It also made a godawful screeching sound in the morning when it was cold out.

Got a replacement AutoZone pump and all was good again.

Can't remember how much the pump was...it was just an AutoZone replacement, so you could look up the price on their site. I think I had around 90K miles when it started dying.
