Steel or Chromoly LCAs?
Steel or Chromoly LCAs?
I know the chromoly should be a bit lighter, and wont rust, but whats your opinions? I think im going with the BMR steel tubulars for $109, or the chromos for $139. Worth the extra $20?

How are they much stronger... they use a thinner walled tubing, thus it is the around the same strength, only a reduction in weight, that is why chrome moly is used in roll cages and chassis and such.
Unless your cutting 0.75 60' times, aluminium arms will work with the proper wall thickness.

I know that chromoly tubes are slightly thinner to reduce more weight, and they are suppose to have the same strength... Does anyone know just how much lighter they are? If its only a few pounds a piece I'll save my $20.

Maybe 5lbs... with "my" aluminium design, you'll save about 2.5lbs over stock... and retain more strength, and it has rod ends. Much better for suspension articulation than polyurethane which has no give to it.
