Angry starting questions

hey guys sometimes im having an issue starting my car whenever im attempting to start it it just makes a clicking sound,then i try on the 2nd or 3rd attempt the car will crank and fire up nice. And when i turn it off and start it again it starts cranking with no clicking issues like on the 1st attempt. Now any help will be appreciated b/c its very annoying when it clicks and no crank on the 1st attempt. thank u guys

Bad connection? ( Ground, Battery, @starter ) Or starter itself bad solenoid etc.

Clicking is always a low current issue. You have to eliminate all the connections first. The most common one is at the battery. Start with them then move on to both clusters of wires, then to the frame to engine strap and end with the large wire at the battery. You may even have to remove the starter and clean the mating surfaces.

Be sure the voltage across the battery stays above 11 volts while cranking it over.

At that point if you still have a problem, begin looking at the components such as ignition switch and solenoid.

You can also test the starter by jumping it directly and remove all the other components from the equation.
