My friend's LT1 died on him the other day. he hopped in the car and it sputtered on start. It fired up four or five times and then the same happened... sputter then died when the throttle was applied. The next day it started up twice and then the sputter problem started again. Any suggestions on what the problem is? Thanks.

 

I would start by hooking up a fuel pressure gauge and see what it is doing when it is sputtering and dying.
