Im having problem starting my 97 ss. I've ruled out the vats, starter, alternator, and battery. I had them all checked and im not thowing a security light. Ill give you an idea of what my car is doing. When i place the key in the ignition everything powers up, fuel pump and all. when i turn the key to start the car it only bumps the starter (like you would do when adjusting valves) and every thing turns off. I can get the car to start if i bump it enough times, but by that time its flooded. Has anyone ever had this happen , and does it sound like the lock cylinder for the ignition key is gone bad? thanks for the help.
