Have you double and triple-checked that you reconnected the starter wiring (solenoid and motor) correctly?

i noticed there is a little rectangular black box underneath the passenger side carpet and it has a plug coming out the right side labeled "OKI" and its not plugged into anything, does anyone know what this is or where it plugs into ?

With the starter still hooked up, take a DVOM and hook it up to the small terminal on the starter. Try cranking it over and see what the voltage is. If the solenoid is operating, but the starter motor itself is not turning over, the voltage should be near battery voltage (11.5v-13v depending on the state of charge of your battery). If the voltage drops significantly, then check the trigger wire coming from the ignition switch. Check it the same way, plugged in, then unplugged. If the voltage drops significantly (below 11v) with it plugged in, and does not drop significantly when unplugged, it is most likely the switch causing the problem. You will need to consult a wiring diagram to be sure you are checking the correct wire on the ignition switch. DO NOT USE A TEST LIGHT, IT WILL ONLY TELL YOU IF THERE IS VOLTAGE and will not tell you how much voltage is there and if there is any voltage drop.
