starting issue after rebuild

i just rebuilt my LT1...put a 503/510 cam, 1.6 full rollers, .600" springs, MSD cap and rotor set, long tube headers with y-pipe and all machine work to heads and block...now i went to start it up with a full battery and brand new gas added to some 4 month old gas and it keeps turning over but wont start and seems like its not turning over fast enough to fire correctly....i got it started twice but cant seem to get it started again... iv gone over everything wire wise..does it sound like a bad ground? im goin to just go ahead a put a high torque starter on and see what that does...anyone have any suggestions? i would appreciate any ideas that i could try to get it started

Dosen't sound like a bad ground. If that was the case, it probably wouldn't crank at all. Usually it's a firing order problem, or maybe just a battery that has lost it's charge.
