Starting Issue

I have a 96 Z28. When the car gets hot it will not restart. Acts like the battery is dead and starter just cicks or does nothing. I have replaced the starter, alternator, and battery. Cleaned all contact points on starter and on ground cables. Still the same. With the car hot it will not crank even if I use the start booster on the charger. I am thinking the new starter is NFG. Any suggestions.

Autozone starter?

Sounds like maybe a bad solinoid to me. Have you tested the charge on the new alternator/ battery?

Anyone know if an ignition switch would cause this?

You might check out shoebox's website, I think there is a no-start write up.

Starter is a Bosch unit. Alt out put is good. Funny thing is when I repaired the ground lead to the engine and now my fuel guage is working. I am wondering if the bad ground cooked the new starter. I am going run a ground lead directly to the starter and see if that helps at all. If that does not work I will get another starter. Thanks for your input.
