Re: Starting Flooded LT1

Put the gas pedal all the way to the floor (this puts the car in a lean mode) and turn the car over.

This may be the dumbest thing Ive ever said but couldnt you pull the fuse to the fule pump and just turn it over to burn the fuel without dumping more fuel? I pulled that out of my backside and have never tried it.

Sit around here and wait for more responses and chances are your car won't be flooded anymore. Anyways, how do you flood a fuel injected car?

Re: Starting Flooded LT1

A malfunction occurs where you get more fuel than you need.

Leaving it to sit doesn't always work.

So here's what I did.

How I got it started for anyone needing this info down the road.

I unplugged the fuel injectors and cranked the car. It started running without the injectors, then died. I did so a few times. Reinstalled the fuses and she started.
