Starting car without tranny

I am having my tranny rebuilt and putting in a new clutch. Well while I was at it I replaced the oil pan and front cover gaskets as well as the rear main seal.

Would it be okay to just start the car up with just the flywheel attached to make sure there are no other leaks(no revving or anything just want to make sure I didn't mess up installing any seals)?

Yup just did it, thanks guys...

However I made a booboo, with the slave cylinder not hooked up to anything I kinda broke it when I stepped on the clutch pedal

Oh well I should be replacing it anyways.
