Question Starter Or ignition switch problem?

I have an LT4 starter on my 97 Camaro Z28 I have been noticing that when I turn the key to the start position there is a delay before the starter kicks over I did not think much of it till yesterday when I went to start the car and nothing happen not a peep.
I turned the key two or three times and the car started right up.
My battery is good So I'm thinking the starter is going out or it's the ignition switch.
But since the starter did not make any attempt to spin I'm thinking it's my ignition switch.
Any body know how I can test the ignition switch?
The starter I can just take down to the auto parts store.
Thanks,

You can use a schematic and test at different points to see where voltage may not be getting to.

I have to honest I am not that great with a schematic.
I was looking at advanced auto parts today and they say there is a starter relay.
Is there one hiding somewhere in my 97Z28?
I see on the schematic there is a theft deterrent relay.
If there is a relay in the system it sounds like that could be my problem.
Thanks,

The TDR (Theft Deterrent Relay) is to the right of the glove box, tucked above the lower edge of the dashboard. The hatch relay is next to it. The ignition switch or connection to it is a lot more common failure point. If you are going to troubleshoot electrical problems yourself, you are going to have to get educated on schematics.
