starter gone out?

My car died in the drive-thru of a Jack in the Box last night For a couple days preceeding I noticed that the ABS INOP light was lit and the car would die when at idle. I know I have a large crack in my radiator and was thinking it was leaking on my battery terminals.

Anyways, I had a guy try to jump me for 20-30 minutes but I kept getting 'click click click' and it wouldn't even try to turn. Is this the starter?

Re: starter gone out?

Probably your battery or connections. Not enough power getting through to activate the starter solenoid.JMHO.

If you're getting clicking sounds then the MOST LIKELY thing is your battery isn't getting enough juice to the starter. Even if your lights and other accessories are still working, the starter takes more juice than them. The part about the ABS INOP and dieing I'm not sure about.
