I finally got the car out of the garage yesterday. I took her out arond the neighborhood and flexed her muscles a little bit, but when I pulled back in the driveway, it started to run real rough. I thought it may be bad fuel, so I shut her down and got some fuel. I put the fuel in it today and tried to start her up. It started to turn and then the starter to free spin. Everytime I turn the key thats what she does. I think it could be the starter is there anything else that this could be?

 

could be some missing teeth on the flex plate, but most likely it's a bad starter

 

I'm hoping its just the starter, cause I put an SFI approved flexplate a year ago.
