Starter dead?

Starter dead?

I just went to start my car, is looped twice and died. Is this my starter?

And when it did finally start, it idled at like 700 RPMs and it was looping and sounded like it was gonna stall....

Make sure you have a "good" battery and that all the connections are solid (i.e, no corrosion). before you go after the starter. JMHO

I just did my LT4 KM and I had to disconnect the negative terminal...if it wasn't on correctly, could that be the problem?

Most definitely. Turn on your head lights. If they work fine, then your ground is ok. But if your ground is loose, or you have corrosion on the either of the terminals, somethimes you might have enough power to turn lights on, but not enough to start the engine.

If your battery age is close to, or expired, its time to get another one, because those dates are fairly accurate.JMHO
