Stange Engine Noise

I got home this afternoon and noticed my car making this weird engine noise. It kind of sounds like a bad bearing but it sounds like it is coming from under the intake. Could this be a bad lifter? ? ?

The engine is stock, with 130K miles.

Video of the car running

Hi, I'm brand new to this forum. I ran across your problem as I was searching for anyone who may have experienced similar problem with my 1992 vette. New car to me and recently developed noise just like yours. I am suspecting waterpump drive, as sound eminates directly from rear of waterpump. Have had no time to investigate, but will keep watching for any help. thank you.

It turned out to be the rubber elbow that connects to the PCV valve. The rubber was really soft, and had expanded so the fit was very loose. I zip tied it around the nipple on the PCV and the noise was gone. Two days later on my way to the parts store, it starts making the noise again. I pop the hood at the store and find the boot seperated right where I put the zip tie. The rubber was very soft and just tore. I replaced it with something they had in house, and so far it's been good. I'm not sure why the rubber softened, as I haven't sprayed anything on the motor in months.

strange engine noise solved

My strange knocking noise in my 92 LT1 turned out to be the harmonic balancer pulley. Had 2 bolts missing and 1 very loose. Suspect that previous owner had distributor problems and did not use locktight in bolts.
All better now. Thank you
