standard length pushrods with new cam?

right now i have comp cams lifters, pushrods, and 1.6RR that installed in my stock motor about 6,000 miles ago. Now the comp pushrods are stock length, my question is will the pushrods work if i switch them over to my 383 with a XFI 468 cam? Is there a different size i have to get or would they be able to work? I know i can keep my lifters and rockers, just not sure about the pushrods....

you should measure to be sure of the proper length.

If there has been no machine work to the block deck or head surface, you normally don't have to worry about pushrod length, but measuring leaves no doubt.

it hasnt been decked and i think the heads might have been milled to 54cc compared to our 56cc. Will that make a difference?

You may need to go just a bit shorter than I think. Maybe like 7.100-7.150" instead of the stock legnth of 7.200"
