Stall Converter Question???

my next mods are going to be a stall and gears. my question is- you guys that have stalls on mostly stock cars, do they actually stall to the rated speed?

i want to get around a 3,5k stall for my car but i want it to actually stall to that speed.

i've always heard that how high it will stall is partially determined by how much motor you have. meaning, if you've got a heads/cam car it will stall closer to the actual rating compared to a stock car.

i just want to get the right stall. dont want to get a 3,5k and end up only getting 2,2-2,4k or something out of it.

BTW, the set up will be mods in sig, 3.73/4.11s, the stall, and a 150 shot right out of the gate.

thanks, jon

The more reputable converter company, the more reputable their claims to stall speed.

Vigilante (precision industries) www.converter.com

www.TCSproducts.com

Yank

etc etc
