ARE Stage II LT1 actual flow results

Being I just posted how everyone should be thankful you’ve got honest porters on this list, lets go the other way and look at one whom may not be as honest.

Instead of posting every single flow number at every lift, I’ll just say the ARE Stage II LT1 heads were between -3 to -12 cfm off on intake numbers and a whopping -28 to -40 cfm off on exhaust numbers. And……… the heads were compared to others in the shop where I had them flowed and the shops heads flowed very close to the original ARE flow sheet.

In other words… they were what ARE says their heads are, so the flow bunch difference is not the issue.

I bought the heads on a complete engine and the dyno also showed the performance. The engine made between 45-55 less rwhp than I was told it would make. And yes…. All the good stuff in on the car from ram air intake, TB, ported LT4 intake, ARE custom cam, long tubes, hand built dual 3” exhaust, EP, my own LT1.edit for tuning etc.

Pretty sick when stage II heads only flow about 10 cfm more than stock. Sicker when your told something different.

Sooo……. All of a sudden Phil and Lloyd are looking better, huh?
