Stage II Clutch, pedal grabbing ?

A buddy just put in the Spec Stage II clutch and the peddle is grabbing right at the floor... is this normal? The preferable thing to happen would have it grab towards the top for quicker shifting. I've done a little research and it seems that this is probably not going to happen...

My question is this... Can we mess with the linkage to get it to engage higher or does he have to purchase the Mcleod adj master? And does the Mcleod even work on LT1's?

Thanks guys!

That's not normal. I run a Stage 2 right now that grabs right away. Feels as smooth as stock.

When I first had my stage II installed it grabbed close to the floor. After a few miles it engages at the top. Give it a little time.

Shouldnt it be in the middle overtime? I thought when they were going bad, the fricton point slowly creeps upward, and new ones tend to be close to the floor. I guess it may depend on the clutch itself the pressure plate and the type f master cylandar your using.
