squeeking noise when car is cold

Hey guys my car makes a squeeking noise when i first fire it up after its been sitting for a while. It goes away after ive drivin it somewhere. It sounds like the accessory belt. This a common problem?

Remove the belt and see if the noise goes away.

Gear driven water pump lets you get away with this for a while...

yeah, my guess is the belt. My winter beater 1990 civic squeels the belt when it is real cold.
