Squeeking noise from rear LCA's after Boxed BMR Install

Anyone have any ideas?

The only thing I can think of is that LCA's are held on with a bolt, nut and washer combo. Because the install procedures made no mention of putting the washer back on, I left it off.

What did you guys do (especially those w/no squeeks )? Did you go "!wahser" or w/washer?

Also, I'm running the stock LCA's.

Thanks.

If they use poly/poly bushings, and you didn't grease them up, squeaking is normal.

Sorry, I forgot to mention in my original post that I have the stock LCA's. I've since edited that post.

Had this problem myself. Cured it by loosening the bolts at both ends, and re-tightening with full vehicle weight on the wheels. A bit awkward to get at but . . .

I'll give it a try... Did you use washers on the LCA's or just the Bolt/Nut combo provided by BRM?

I think you just need to tighten up the LCA bolts alittle more.

Mine did the same thing. Drop the LCA at the end where it connects to the body of the car. Grease the bushings on both sides where they touch car metal, no more squeak. No washer used.

You could grease it at the other end as well if you still hear a squeak but mine was at the car end and not at the axle.

Great, I took your advice and no more squeek. With any luck, it won't come back in a week

Thanks for the help guys.

Now, if I can only figure out my ongoing alignment problem...
