when i press down on my brake pedal, i hear some squeakyness coming from it. any clue on why its doing that?

 

I had the same problem on my 97' S-10. I sprayed some white lithium grease on the hinge of the pedal assembly. You'll have to lie on your back cause it's hard to get to. Mine was annoying as all hell. Every time I pressed the brake pedal it would squeek. Good luck.
