Ok I have a noticable "knock" coming from the engine bay somewhere,really havent gotten to deep in it. I have really good oil pressure and runs fine but the sound its in sink with the rpm. I would of thought of a lifter but i woudl think a collapsed lifter would maek it stumble and miss? any help would be great.

 

Make sure your accessories are tight on the brackets.

 

and make sure the torque conv. bolts are not loose. you should jaclk up the car and listen to the eng. from underneath. if its a rod knock it'll be louder underneath. good luck. mine turned into a 383 project.

check your engine codes. Might have a misfire. A bad spark plug/wire or loose plug/wire will cause a misfire and sound like a knock.
