Spring shock install questions...not the same as everyone else.

I bought a used set of revalved bilsteins and lg super springs and noticed the front shocks don't have a lower spring perch. How easy is this to swap over from my existing shocks? Is the perch crimped onto the shock? Also the they came without dust boots.

You can swap the stuff from your existing shocks. The lower perch and the dust cover will slide off after the spring is removed.

It slides easily off? Sorry for such a dumb question but the lip that the perch sits on didn't look big or wide enough to hold the perch in its place. I thought it was pressed or crimped in place.
