I own a 1994 camaro Z28 and my ignition switch
was sticking the other day so i sprayed some WD-40
in the key hole and a day later my security light is
constantly on. The car still starts but the light is still
on . It doesnt flash it just stays on. Thanks for the help.

 

Try some electronic cleaner in there and clean your key pellet off.

 

I have a spare key . If i used it would it go away maybe ??

 

If the key is the problem it would. The key has to stay in for a little while before the security light will finally go out.
