Re: Bosch +4's ROCK!

OK, after reading all this, I thought I would put another vote in for the +4's.

1) With no other changes, I noticed an increase in throttle response (not in my head, felt it right away).
2) Increased my MPG about 3-4 MPG.
3) Starts now with just a tap of the key, very easy.
4) Engine is actually more quiet at idle (again, not in my head).

The comment about blocking the current is just plain crazy......but, who am I to say?
I know we all like what we like, that is just a fact of life. But, I feel that if someone does not like some particular product, they should only state the facts they know about it, not make up some crap to support their views....just MHO.......

First off, thanks for suggesting I make stuff up to support my views Let me let you in on a little secret.. I'm not. The spark needs to be exposed, you want to run the widest gap possible given the ignition system and the induction system (FI or not) among other things. Covering the spark with four big f'ing posts is not going to make for a good burn.. it's a simple as that.

Your lovely little list of the gains made by the plugs is great too. If you haven't changed your plugs ever then I'd expect any piece of crap plug to improve fuel mileage and maybe even throttle response. C'mon though, you have an engineering degree, you must be a smart guy, do you honestly think a plug is going to make the engine quieter?

With all your claims I wonder why I installed that msd box when those magical plugs could have done all that and more at a fraction of the cost, DAMN! Can they even adjust timing too?

Don't you guys see a parallel between this and the tornado? Hello.. is anyone home? It's a cheap sales gimmick designed to prey on the uniformed.

If these were some great design don't you think engine builders everywhere would be using them and recommending them? Wouldn't all the performance venues be carrying these plugs? Wouldn't everyone on the board be using these plugs?
I got news for you, they're not... welcome to reality.

Splitfire being taken to court and not being able to provide proof, that they said they had due to years of research, is proof enough to me that it is a bunch of BS.

Spark is only going to hit one conductor, so why shroud the spark? Makes no sense to me.
