Splayed Mains

how much does it usually cost to get splayed mains? price of machining and the caps themselves

depends on the machine shop. I didn't get it done because the machinist that did my block wanted nearly $300(R&R Racing). But I've heard guys say they got it done for $50

Machine shops charge roughly 10 hours of labor to splay the caps, so that would be lets say $650 at $65/hour rate, and the splayed caps are about $200 or $250

they charged me 250 just to drill and tap the 6 holes and then line bore it to make sure the cap bores were identical
